Setting Associations

"Setting associations" means adding capabilities to your browser by configuring it to call another program to handle a specific kind of data. For example, you might install an Adobe Acrobat viewer to display .pdf files. The concept is basically the same as defining data file types in Windows 3.1's Program Manager or Windows 95's Explorer: you associate a file extension with the appropriate program.

To access all the features of your WinMag CD, you'll need to configure your browser to use three applications.
